Joe McNulty and Randy Keiser Obtain Summary Judgment

Joe McNulty and Randy Keiser obtained summary judgment for a supermarket in a slip and fall case in Pennsylvania. The plaintiff claimed that she fell near a ramp in the sidewalk adjacent to the supermarket. Joe and Randy argued that the fall occurred in a common area as defined in the lease and that the supermarket had no duty to maintain that area. Also, they argued that summary judgment was warranted, because the plaintiff failed to identify the cause of her fall. The court agreed, entering judgment in favor of the defendants and against the plaintiff. For more information, or to obtain a copy of the opinion, please contact FHMSlaw@fhmslaw.com.
