Spencer D. Mendez is an associate in the Philadelphia office of Fowler Hirtzel McNulty & Spaulding, LLC. Prior to joining FHMS, Mr. Mendez served as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, New York from 2021 to 2023. While there, he was a member of the District Court Bureau and Domestic Violence Unit, as well as serving as a member of the Biological, Environmental, and Animal Safety Team. In his role, he gained experience in prosecuting not only crimes of domestic violence and animal cruelty, but also a variety of crimes from larceny to driving while intoxicated. He has tried several jury and bench trials to verdict.
Mr. Mendez earned his undergraduate degree in history from Villanova University. In 2021, he graduated from The University of Miami School of Law. While there, he participated as a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board and competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Competition. Additionally, during his time in law school he was independently published in the Esports Bar Association Journal.
Mr. Mendez is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York.
