Gregory Hirtzel

Gregory “Greg” Hirtzel, devoted husband, loving father, dedicated coach, and our cherished colleague and friend, passed away suddenly on April 10, 2026.

 Greg helped build FHMS the way he did everything else, with energy and integrity but very little fanfare. His clients trusted him. His colleagues valued him. The legal community respected him.

 Greg had a way of lighting up a room, whether he was mentoring a young lawyer, striking up a conversation with just about anyone, or simply enjoying a good deep talk or a quiet everyday moment.

 Outside the office, Greg poured that same passion into coaching youth sports. He guided countless kids with a mix of encouragement and quiet humility. The kids he coached are grown or growing and will pass on Greg’s values to future generations.

 His legacy lives on in the firm he helped create, in the young athletes whose lives he touched, and in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have crossed paths with him. He will be truly missed.
