Hirtzel and Lettieri Present Webinar on Reservation of Rights

On Thursday, November 19th, partners Gregory Hirtzel and Frances Lettieri presented a webinar on Reservation of Rights. Hirtzel, a seasoned litigator in all manner of high exposure casualty claims whose practice crosses over into risk transfer and insurance coverage matters and Lettieri, a partner in the firm’s Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith practice, provided a case law update. They broke down several decisions that the state and federal courts have issued over the past 18 months and analyzed how these decisions impact reservation of rights letters, the duty to defend, and construction defect litigation. They also discussed Pennsylvania’s bi-partisan House Bill 1887, which if passed, will mark a substantial change to Pennsylvania’s anti-indemnification statute.  

Hirtzel and Lettieri have presented the seminar to two different insurance companies and have future presentations planned for other insurance professionals.
