For almost two decades, Sean has helped his clients achieve highly advantageous and cost-effective outcomes – whether it’s through early and aggressive case dismissal, settlement on favorable and risk-efficient terms, arbitration, mediation or trial.
His areas of practice include defense of catastrophic loss claims, commercial motor vehicle, construction, real estate, products liability and liquor liability matters. His clients primarily include commercial and residential real estate companies, commercial motor vehicle carriers, mom and pop hard-working business owners, as well as regional and multi-national insurance carriers.
Prior to joining the firm, Sean worked at some of the largest insurance defense firms in the region, with experience running the gamut of sophisticated casualty defense representation. He has litigated cases at both the major jury and arbitration levels, and has obtained numerous successful results on behalf of clients, including more than twenty defense verdicts and entries of summary judgment over the past few years alone. Sean takes pride in litigating cases on a personal level and treating all clients’ cases as if they were his own.
A lifelong Philadelphia-area resident, avid Philly sports and music enthusiast, Sean attended Villanova University (Charles Widger) School of Law where he was the managing editor of the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Gene E.K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. After law school, he served as a judicial law clerk for Justice James J. Fitzgerald, III of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. He is an “AV Preeminent” rated litigator and a Super Lawyers Rising Star – distinctions earned by fewer than 5% of lawyers across the United States. Most proudly for Sean, he is also an Honor Roll Volunteer with the Philadelphia Elder Justice Civil Resource Center assisting with the defense of indigent elderly Philadelphia residents, as well as a former Board Overseer for St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
