Mary Hains is an associate in the Mount Laurel office of Fowler Hirtzel McNulty and Spaulding. She focuses her practice in the defense of civil litigation matters involving commercial vehicles, construction accidents, premises liability and products liability.
Prior to joining FHMS, Mary served as a law clerk to the Honorable Philip J. Degnan, J.S.C. in Essex County Superior Court. Mary also served as an intern to the Honorable Stephen Petrillo, J.S.C. and a large university’s office of general counsel. She participated in pro bono work with the Courtroom Advocates Project as a student attorney assisting domestic violence victims in filing for orders of protection.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Colorado Boulder. Mary attended Rutgers Law School in Newark as a Dean’s Merit Scholar and graduated in 2021. During her time in law school, she served on the Rutgers Race and the Law Review’s Executive Board as the Symposium Editor.
