Alyssa is an Associate in the Philadelphia office. Alyssa earned her B.A. in Communication from Wake Forest University, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude distinction, earned Departmental Honors in her Communication major, and successfully completed an Honors Thesis as well as a university funded Research Fellowship. In 2024, she graduated from Villanova University School of Law. During law school, she was a federal judicial extern in the federal court of the Southern District of Ohio for the Honorable Michael Newman. Further, she participated as a student attorney at Villanova Law’s Clinic of Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Services where she helped build and prepare an asylum seeker’s case for hearing. Additionally, she externed for Villanova Law’ Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation where she did criminal work on a post-conviction relief case, legislative and policy work regarding sex trafficking laws in Pennsylvania, and work bringing awareness to victims of sex trafficking.
Prior to joining FHMS, Alyssa worked for a Philadelphia insurance defense firm handling third party automobile and premises case as well as first party matters. In her free time, Alyssa is an avid Sixers fan and enjoys the NBA as well as rooting for Philadelphia sports teams.
