Sean P. Hvisdas is an associate in Fowler Hirtzel McNulty & Spaulding’s New Jersey Offices.
Prior to joining FHMS, Mr. Hvisdas served as a law clerk to the Honorable Janet Z. Smith, J.S.C., Civil Division of Burlington County Superior Court, where he was responsible for legal research and writing on a variety of issues related to civil litigation.
Prior to his clerkship, Mr. Hvisdas worked with CPAsNET.com as its Executive Director for more than a half decade. During his time there, Mr. Hvisdas assisted the association’s more than 35 member accounting firms by providing marketing and practice management consulting on a variety of issues. Consulting closely with the partners in the member firms, Mr. Hvisdas worked to create advertising, marketing, and growth strategies to help these firms achieve their profitability and practice goals. He began his post-undergraduate career at the Southern New Jersey Development Council, where he served as Government Affairs Coordinator.
While working full time during the day and attending school at night, Mr. Hvisdas graduated from the Rutgers School of Law – Camden cum laude and served as a Staff Editor on the Journal of Law and Public Policy. In addition, he was selected to participate in the highly competitive appellate advocacy Hunter Moot Court program. Finally, Mr. Hvisdas worked in the pro bono Civil Practice Clinic during which time he represented clients on several matters. Mr. Hvisdas obtained his B.A. in Political Science from Rowan University, graduating magna cum laude. At Rowan University, Mr. Hvisdas was the managing editor of The Whit, the university’s on-campus newspaper; Vice President of Communication for Golden Key International Honour Society; recognized with the “Dean’s Tea Award,”which honored outstanding extracurricular and academic achievement; and a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society.
